Online Art Sale: Support Civil Liberties Through Art

Hope: 8 x 8" $75
It's time for another online art sale to support tolerance and peace.   Last month, I was able to donate $300 to the Southern Poverty Law Center, through sales of original art and prints.  Let's see if we can do it again!  All proceeds go to the SPLC, dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.
"Embark" - 10 x 10" $125
Offered for sale - these paintings of lotus flowers.  The lotus is an exquisite flower that grows in ponds, creeks, and muddy waters, with exquisite blooms that defy the "muck" below.  It is a beautiful symbol of persistence and emerging from difficulties, against all odds.  Each is on gallery wrapped canvas, and ready to hang.  They are made mixed media, lots of texture, and love. Prices include shipping and handling anywhere in the world.

Dreams: 8 x 8" $75
Inspiration: 10 x 10" $125
Discover: 10 x 10" 125
Imperfection 8 x 8" $75

Thank you in advance for visiting and checking out these paintings.  If you'd like one of them, just say so in the comments, and leave me your email so I can get in touch with you for payment and shipping info.  To avoid SPAM, please write your email like this: jessicasporndesigns (at) gmail (dot) com

This is just one of a range of many beautiful stencils and stamps that Jessica designs, so be sure to take a look.

How to Create a Unique Baby Layette

Need a unique gift for a new baby?  How about creating a one-of-a-kind layette or clothing line, that only one special newborn will have.

I'm on the Stencil Girl Talk blog today describing the steps I took to do just that, using DecoArts fabric paints, my newest stencils from Stencil Girl, cosmetic sponges and my gelli plate.  I hope you'll hop over to take a look!

I also filmed some of my process.

Make sure to check back on my blog tomorrow, April 1, for a special announcement!
