Sometimes I use my art journal to write what I'm feeling:
I'm more inclined to write if I'm also playing with composition, color, and handwriting.
In this post, I showed you the pages I prepped for our trip to Guatemala; here it is all finished.
"There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart. Pursue these." Michael Norton.
The people we have connected with in Guatemala have truly captured my heart and given us special moments and memories.
You can read more about our trip here.
Thank you for visiting! I read and treasure every comment and will answer any questions as quickly as I can.

Love these pages...your writing is well-formed & creates texture...and I always love some happy color in an art journal!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you prep pages. I have been using up left over paint on pages then writing over them. Now I'm writing over old practices sketches. That gives me an interesting background and helps me over come the idea that I'm wasting paper when I do a "bad" drawing. The trio of faces is so warm and expressive. Thanks for sharing all your inspirations!
