At Your Fingertips: Organizing your Stamps & Stencils!
Hi there! I’m Kristin Van Valkenburgh, a Mixed Media Artist from
Southern California, and am thrilled to be kicking off the first of what will
be an entire year’s worth of videos and posts, from the new Jessica Sporn
Designs Creative Team.
What exactly will we do? Play of course! As you may know, Jessica
has designed a beautiful collection of Stencils through Stencil Girl, and Stamps through Rubbermoon and I for one, have been chomping at the bit to work with both!
So for this first video, I thought it would be appropriate to
share a quick and easy way to store and organize all of our favorite Stamps
& Stencils . . . at our fingertips! I hope you’ll find it fun, functional
and perhaps even inspirational in creating your own little catalogue(s) of
color!
You can also watch At Your Fingertips on YouTube here.
Until we meet again, Kristin xo
A childhood
obsession with Hollywood starlets led to an early life in the theater, where Kristin Van Valkenburgh spent many happy days on set and behind the scenes as both an actress
and makeup artist for the stage. Kristin has a passion for all things mixed
media and loves to create whimsical pieces with lots of layers, bright, poppy
colors, big eyes and positive affirmations. Her work has been featured in
numerous Stampington publications
including Somerset Studio, SomersetStudio Gallery, Somerset Life, Somerset
Apprentice, Artists’ Cafe and Art
Journaling. Find Kristin on her blog, YouTube,
Facebook and Instagram.
