We are each perfection in our imperfection...
wonderful works in progress, always unfinished.
Isn't that the best blessing? We always have opportunities to grow, become more compassionate and caring, better listeners, better spreaders of joy.
The only thing that is forever is change.
Here is a video of my process making this art journal page. I used Seth Apter's Unfinished stencil, as well as my own designs for Stencil Girl Products.

I love her and how you created her. Does she have a name? Love your process and your changes. The meaning of "unfinished", I've never thought of, but it's so true, isn't it? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy. I didn't think about that meaning either, but the stencil totally inspired me!
DeleteI really love your journal page and enjoyed the process of watching her come to life. I especially enjoyed your commentary while working about all of us being "unfinished" and realized that that particular word fits into so many aspects of our lives. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by Kathy, and for leaving such kind words. It's great to realize that we're still not "done!"
DeleteThat was fascinating Jessica. Thanks for showing your process. And keep on baking!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Seth! Glad you enjoyed it. Your stencil definitely inspired me.
