The wonderful
Seth Apter has a great blog hop going today called "Studio Reveal." Lots of artists have linked up with photos of their studios - messy, tidy, you name it! Here are pics of my MESSY space -- it's how I'm most comfortable working!
|
What's on my work table today... a small canvas, charms for Art is You, and an art journal page all at the same time! |
|
Expanded view - supplies and an almost finished iced coffee! |
|
Here's what's behind my chair -- need all my paints, markers, pencils, crayons and gelatos within reach... |
|
Also behind me, often used mediums, stamps, modeling cremes and embossing powders... |
|
My beloved stencils.... |
|
Teaching supplies on the shelves and in the big cabinet... |

I always love to see how others set up their creative space- love your clear pocket hanger on the wall behind your chair! Great idea!! See! You have inspired me to add new storage! heehee
ReplyDeleteReally cool studio Jessica- and the light! Oh my- let it pour in!!! Love it! xo
Great working space, Jessica! Love to see that you display some of your pieces! I just started doing that. I guess it's self inspiration! Why not!?
ReplyDeleteGreat space!
ReplyDeleteLOTS of great things happening here....and BOOKS. I can relate to that.
ReplyDeleteLove Messy Spaces! Always amazes me when I see pictures of studios where every single thing is organized and color coded and tucked neatly away. The impish fairy in me wants to go in and spread a big collage project out on their work surface and spend an hour with their paints and stamps and stencils and doodads and leave it there to remind them to MAKE A MESS-HAVE SOME FUN!!
ReplyDeleteIt seems I'm always working on more than one project at a time. How can one be tidy doing that??
DeleteFun space! Looks a lot like mine, just as messy as is needed.
ReplyDeleteGreat work space! Love the organized clutter and your work is so colorful. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Jessica! Mine is still messier...but creativity abhors neatness and nitrile gloves
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the tour, Jessica! LOVE your place!

Ooh sweet relief! I'm always kicking myself for having such a messy "creative space." It's so relieving to see that even my idols live in chaos!
