Poppies for Inspiration Avenue

Inspiration Avenue has put out a call for January poppies! Here is my favorite poppy moment!

Here is a watercolor sketch with some collage in my journal:
And a paint up of poppies and leaves (watercolor and gouache) on some extra bits of watercolor paper:

which I scanned into my computer to create this digital collage:

Feel free to download the top two poppies for your personal use!  And go over to Inspiration Avenue and check out all the poppies!

Thank you for visiting! I read and treasure every comment and will answer any questions as quickly as I can.

  1. I love all the poppies, Jessica. I really like too how you put the orange background behind the poppies. I haven't learned to do layers yet in Adobe Elements, but it is on my list to learn this year. I really like the journal page, combining poppies and hearts.
