Own Your Happiness & Face #5

Why is it so hard to own our own happiness?  It's so easy to be happy for others and to celebrate them.  But when good things happen to us, we feel like we don't deserve them, didn't earn them, or are embarrassed about them.  ENOUGH!  I hereby declare that it is time to:

OK -- I'll start.  Here are some things I'm happy about!

I was the featured artist on Tuesday at Jennibellie Studios!  If you've never visited, Jenny Clay hosts an amazing blog full of free videos, advice, and lots of love.  I hope you'll check out my interview!

I won top 5 for Try it on Tuesday's challenge: "Let's Get Stitchy!"  Here's the post, and this is the work I won for!  WOOT WOOT!

I will be teaching two classes at The Ink Pad in New York on Sunday, May 5.  In the morning I'll be teaching a class called:

In the afternoon, I'll be teaching a class called:

Registration has started; there are only 22 seats per class; and they're already filling up!  Call the Ink Pad and reserve your seat today!

What's going on with you that we can celebrate?  Own your own happiness!

Thank you for visiting! I read and treasure every comment and will answer any questions as quickly as I can.

  11. Hi, Jessica! Corrine sent me over. Love your post and it actually couldn't be more timely for me. I just did a blog post tooting my own artsy horn and, in retrospect, was feeling a bit, shall we say, pompous about it. Now I am proud that I did that post.
